I write at the intersections of folk culture, agrarianism, gender and the body (with some esoteric musings thrown in here and there).

Upcoming Projects:

FENUCCA: a journal of queer shepherd experience

coming fall 2024

FENUCCA is a submission-based journal that explores the unique relationship between land, agriculture, and queer identity. Through a combination of story-telling, art, and photography, we document the experiences of queer folks who work with sheep as shepherds, shearers and the like.

We provide a platform for individuals to express their stories, experiences, successes, and hardships, in order to create a better understanding of the intersections of queerness and agriculture.

Keep an eye out for a call for submissions SUMMER 2024.
